About The Chef

David Demos CatererWild game, ranch-fresh meats, and Colorado grown fruits and vegetables have creatively shaped my culinary style. Having arrived in Steamboat Springs after growing up and going to college in New England, cooking for family and friends with Rocky Mountain ingredients was something I quickly began to enjoy.

The world class outdoor lifestyle we enjoy here has taught me three things:

  1. I always come home hungry.
  2. I count on hearty mountain meals to carry me to my next adventure.
  3. You don’t have to sacrifice quality and style at elev. 7,000 ft

I believe the kitchen is the most comfortable room in the house. And I hope you will share the culinary quiver of healthy flavors I carry with me throughout the seasons for your next dining experience. I sleep well at night knowing that I pour my soul and love for food into every bite I serve.

I always try to put health first, and work hard to make my recipes the healthiest and most nutritious that they can be. I don’t sacrifice taste of course, but my own personal spin on well known recipes often revolves around making the meal healthier and more balanced overall. My customers have told me that they quite enjoy it. I think that health is very important and should be considered a priority. Whenever I get sick I always make sure I weigh my options as well, and employ the safest and most effective solution. I do the same for my family. This is another thing that I think everyone should do. You can find information about health alternatives here so that you can do so as well should the need ever arise.
